To the right of the screen are some links to useful websites that will assist students with their revision.  Revision resources for specific subjects can be found through the link to 'Subject Areas' on the right of the screen.

Students have been taught how to use flash cards and mind maps to assist in revising for GCSE exams.

Students in Y10 and Y11 have been making flashcards in lessons and then using them in form time to continually revise the content needed for the GCSE exams.  This is to help students commit information to their long term memory through retrieval practise.  To the right is a link to a useful website explaining how to make an effective flashcard and a link to a video clip explaining the Leitner Method students have been using with flashcards in form time.

Mind Maps:

Students in Y11 have taken part in a workshop in school to learn how to make a mind map to revise.  The video below explains how to do this. 

The timetable below is for extra revision sessions that will be running after school for Y11 to assist in preparing for the summer exams.  There is also a list of recommended revision guides and websites for each subject.
