At Bradfield, we support students to develop active revision skills from Y7.  

Through key stage 3, students develop these skills as part of the LORIC pledge, developing the ability to revise using knowledge organsiers, flashcards and mindmaps by the end of Y9.

In Y10, students complete a focused 'How to Revise' programme through tutor time at the beginning of the year.  This allows for consolidation of skills already acquired and teaches further technqiues. Students are encouraged to identify and use their preferred techniques from this point.

Throughout key stage 4, students have dedicated revision time built in to tutor time each week.  This is a mixture of independent revision and revision sessions taught by teaching staff.
