Covid-19

The health and safety of our community is our key priority, and we are following local and national guidance on the reopening of schools. Please follow the links below for the latest information.

Lateral Flow Tests at  Home

From 17th March, students will start to be issued with their Covid Home testing kits. This is for students where we have received consent for the first three tests to happen in school. Please read the 'Self- Testing for Covid' document below.. You can watch the guidance from government on home testing below.

Can someone undertake home testing if they have not taken three initial tests in school?

The accuracy of the test is linked to the quality of swabbing and testing. It is therefore advised that students undertake initial swabbing under supervision at school. This is why secondary schools have been asked to offer students three tests on-site, upon their return prior to transitioning them to home testing. At the Headteacher's discretion, where certain criteria are met, we can allow tests to be sent directly home, and we will be issuing a consent letter for this shortly.

Please report results to the NHS and to school each time you complete a test via the links below, whether the test is positive, negative or inconclusive.
