The Trust Board is responsible for all of the schools within the Trust and determines the mission, vision and Trust improvement strategy. Local context and community links are provided by our Local Governing Board. 

Our Local Governing Board consists of representatives from staff, parents/carers and the wider community. It provides support and challenge to senior leaders at the school, whilst reviewing and monitoring areas for which it has delegated responsibility from the Trust Board.

Paul has lived in Sheffield with his family since attending University here.  He is a Managing Director for a global consultancy with more than 20 years experience working within Governance frameworks in both public and private sector settings.   He has been a co-opted Governor with Bradfield, since the transition to a Local Governing Board in 2021, working closely with the school for the last year and supporting the most recent Ofsted inspection.

He has 4 children, including three currently at Bradfield, and is pleased to be supporting the vision of the school to enable "all children to thrive" and fulfil their potential.

Susan Eglinton

Sue is an experienced secondary school teacher of more than 20 years, specialising in German and French. She started her career in Oxford before moving to Sheffield and now works in one of the city schools. During her career, she has taken on many roles including Subject Lead, Trainee Teacher Mentor, Peer Coaching Lead, and organised many residential and work experience trips to France and Germany. Sue is passionate about teaching and education and she feels privileged to work with young people every day.

Sue has been a co-opted Governor since 2021 and has two children currently at Bradfield

Jonathan Rigelsford Parent    Jonathan has lived in Sheffield since 2002 when he moved to work at the University of Sheffield. In 2019 he left academia to join a large American based international company where he is a Senior Member of Technical Staff (Engineering Director), providing critical project support for automotive, aerospace and industrial businesses. He is passionate about problem solving and wants to support the school achieve its full potential for the benefit of all students.
His son joined Bradfield in 2024 and his daughter will be joining in 2026.

Joy Price has worked at Bradfield School for four years after previously working at two other secondary school in the Tapton Trust. Prior to joining the   Trust she has worked in many different Sheffield schools, mainly supporting their Citizenship programmes.

She has one daughter who attended Bradfield School.
