Covid 19 - Contact Tracing over Christmas

What to do if your child tests positive for Covid 19 over the Christmas holidays on or before 24th December.

The Department for Education has requested that schools continue to support with test and trace at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. This is to protect the community and will work alongside the NHS Test and Trace system to identify close contacts of individuals that have received a positive Covid-19 test result.

You will only need to contact the school if your child receives a positive test result on or before the 24th December, and their symptoms started on or before 20th December.

Please use this link to access a secure form to report a case to the school:

If your child is identified as a close contact of someone that has received a positive test result, the school will contact you (via MCAS message, text message, or phone call) and advise that your child must isolate for a period of 14 days from the date that they were last in contact with the individual.  Households will be required to follow government guidance on self-isolation.
