Welcome Back!

Our Attendance Target: 96% Attendance this week: 97.6% +2% on this time last year!
It has been a real pleasure welcoming pupils back to school this week. The positive energy and enthusiasm from both students and staff has been fantastic, the school feels vibrant and full of life. Thank you for your continued support in ensuring pupils return in full uniform and appropriate footwear. It makes a real difference and helps set the tone for a successful year ahead.
Just a gentle reminder of our uniform expectations, which can be found in full here: Uniform Policy. In particular, we’d like to highlight the following:
- Footwear: All black, leather-look, and polishable
- No false nails
- Natural-looking eyelashes
- No facial piercings (clear retainers are required for nose piercings)
We’re also delighted to share some fantastic news: our 2025 results are the best the school has seen since 2019. Bradfield is now the second most improved school in Sheffield for outcomes, with progress made in every measurable area. This is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our pupils, and the support from families like yours. We couldn’t be prouder.
Looking ahead, our key priorities this year include:
- Continuing to raise outcomes for all and close gaps for disadvantaged and SEND pupils — we are deeply committed to ensuring every child, regardless of their starting point, achieves the success they deserve.
- Creating ‘Powerful Moments’ for all pupils — enriching school life with memorable experiences and opportunities that inspire and empower.
Thank you once again for your partnership. We’re excited for the year ahead and all that we will achieve together.
Warm Regards,
Anna Hughes
Head of School
